In the centre of the Ruhr metropolitan area Herne has a range of attractive commercial properties, thus providing substantial scope for businesses planning to start up or expand.
In Hibernia business park space has been created for logistics operators, service companies and small and medium-sized businesses. With the intermunicipal ”Last Mile Logistics Network” project, launched by Gelsenkirchen, Herne and Herten, a new network for innovative products and services is being developed on the ”last mile”, with a ”Last-Mile Logistics park” extending over an area of 170 hectares.
